I have a friend who is a veteran in the world of human resources. She worked at a large company for a long time before she retired. She would often tell upper management that the employees were not happy. The response? They did not care if the employees were not happy. They are there to churn a profit.
It's profit before people. Always has been always will be. Think about that. Think about that in your own personal business transactions. You are always looking for the cheapest deal possible, too.
