Not Even The Homeless Want the Homeless

Word is out.  Sonoma County is giving away "free" housing.  Parasites are quick to find hosts.  I find it ironic that not even the homeless want to help the homeless.  They stake their territory with their tents on the Joe Rodata Trail and viciously protect what they think is their little piece of turf if somebody new comes along they feel doesn't belong.

We ignore those who are quietly struggling trying to do the right thing while those who squat, trash, fight, disrespect, etc., get rewarded.

Good luck, California, if you think catering to that base will result in a citizenship that can sustain itself.

Joe Rodata Trail - Homelessness Swells

....is it any wonder the ranks of the homeless are swelling along the trail?  The word of "free housing" and "handouts" has reached far and wide.

Question:  Who is going to discern as to whom gets assistance and who does not?  Is the newcomer who came to the trail from SF and got wind of our free give away, then thumbed his was here, and joined the ranks of the noisy, disrespectful, messy ranks along the trail going to take precedence over the law-abiding, elderly Sonoma County resident of 50+ years quietly living on cat food and one social security check away from eviction?

Really?  This is where we are going to focus our tax dollars?  On those who won't even clean up their own shit?  We are rewarding the wrong group.

Expect more and more homelessness and lawlessness, Sonoma County, you just rolled out the welcome mat.  Dumbasses.

Day Time TV

I've been in the work force for the past 30+ years; therefore, I don't watch daytime tv.  However, I've been within range of daytime tv for about a month now (long story).  Here's what I noticed:

  • Most commercial breaks are advertisements pushing prescription drugs or injury attorneys promising you they will win your bull**** lawsuit;
  • Shows are geared for below-average intelligence;
  •  Is Jerry Springer still on?  At least I found that show humorous the two times I actually saw it when I was hospitalized.  These other whacko's on today are just plain stupid and need somebody else to point out the obvious to them.

Vigilante

The people who live along the Joe Rodata Trail have had enough and I don't blame them one bit.  Now the homeless are attracting a rat infestation.  Great.  They are trapping the rats and feeding them something so they can't reproduce.  Hey, I have an idea........

Marvel Movies

There's a trend with movies.  Have you seen any of the Marvel Movies?  What an insult to anybody's intelligence.  There's not plot.  It's all hyper-destruction and violence.  It's all comic strip characters (The Hulk, Captain America, Thor): bashing, beating, shooting, sledging, flying, blowing up, annihilating, choking.  Whew.

Quite frankly, I find all this exuberant violence and special effects boring.

I need a movie that has more to it than the constant smashing and punching to music I would otherwise enjoy.

Somebody......please present something with an actual PLOT?  I can only stand to see Captain America beat up on (insert villain) so many times before I'm bored to tears.

Gated Communities

Here's a trend I see for the future - a tremendous growth of gated communities.  These communities will have everything they need so residents don't have to leave.  These new gated communities will not be for the uber rich.  They already have them.  These new communities will be formed by people who are sick and tired of crime, trash, needles, crap, homelessness.  Communities will form their own moats, so to speak, complete with walls and guards.
