It's heeeeeeeeere

It has been so hot and smokey in Sonoma County.  It's downright miserable.  Fires are burning out of control.  Global warming is here.  While it's true the earth has been heating and cooling since the beginning of time it's human activity that is causing most of our current misery.  Yup, it's self-inflicted.  Yes, it's also true that it's idiots doing things they are not supposed to be doing that also are causing the fires.

No matter how you slice it, it's PEOPLE who are the cause of the fires and climate change.........and we keep pumping out more and more without thought to the impact on the planet.  The media does not want to touch that truth with a ten foot pole.

Oh no, I'm not letting anybody off the hook.  What have YOU done to lessen your environmental footprint?  Are you going about your business like nothing is going on?  I'm betting that's pretty much the case.  Tossing your recyclables into the proper bin does not cut it.  Don't you know it all ends up in the general trash anyway?  You need to DO more, not talk about doing more.

People think that cutting back is for others to do as that would impact your lifestyle.  Worse yet, you're one of those who have the 'Keep Tahoe Blue' bumper sticker on the back of your fossil fuel sucking, gigantic SUV.  Every time you get in your car or travel on a plane you are part of the problem.  Every extra square foot of your house that you really don't need is part of the problem.  YOU are part of the problem.  Before you get all pissy at me, I'm calling myself out on my own environmental imperfections and changing.

We have to change, sorry if it's not convenient for you.  It's time to put our own self-interests aside and think of the collective good.  Not even the threat of the virus can keep us at home and not running around polluting.  Everybody is whining and disobeying the stay-at-home orders.  Just look at this past weekend where people crowded the beaches.  To add insult to injury they all left behind piles of their trash.  Idiots.  We almost deserve to be killed off by mother nature.

This is just the beginning, folks.  You will all be whining a lot more soon.
