Bad Loans

And like the banks had nothing to do with issuing bad loans that have driven the US economy into the tanker and are now trying to pin the consumer as the sole evil-doer. This picture was taken from the sidwalk outside the window of Sonoma National Bank in Petaluma, California. Each and every window of this bank location was plastered with this same sign message in different colors. I found it amusing, as the consumer couldn't get the loan without the bank approval.

and now of course the banks get bailed out while the poor souls who didn't understand lose their homes.

somehow, no matter what happens in this country, the innocent (or mis-informed) get blamed and the guilty make money.

I think I'm gonna be sick ... oh, wait ~ I already am; the last 8 years have kept me in a continued state of nausea and dispair.

Asshats ~ the banks, the corporations ... all of the institutions in bed with the politicians in this country ~ combined with the ignorant materialistic sheep that the majority in this country have become (except for the ones who are sadly merely trying to SURVIVE)have created a a cesspool.

Thanks oh raging one ~ I can always come here; let the boil that is my resentment towards the truly awful in our world pop ... and go on to try and live through another day with at least some modicum of hope and optimism.

It sure ain't easy though....

Oh dear, I'm afraid I can't agree entirely this time. This is a wonderful picture of hypocracy (we'll lend you all you want until we get into trouble and then tell you to be more careful) but what about personal responsibility? More and more, we are seeing people blaming others when they've been caught out by their desire to have everything right now.
