Deja Vu. We've done this before. It's the 1970's all over again. The only difference this time is that President Biden is not quite Jimmy Carter. Although I was a kid in the 1970's I remember it like it was yesterday. We are reliving the cycle of high inflation, gas shortages, etc.
Even the styles are back. Bell bottoms, platform shoes, afros, AND the gawd-awful pastel colored polyester leisure suits. Even the home decor is back. Remember swag lamps and shag carpeting? Harvest gold and avocado green kitchens? Carol Brady's shag haircut? Oh, except nowadays Carol Brady's shag haircut is now called the "octopus."
Everything goes full-circle, folks. There is nothing new under the sun. Everybody thinks that they have original ideas. They don't. It's all been tried before. My grandma used to tell me to put my old clothes in a barrel. When the barrel fills up turn it upside down as your clothes will be in style again.
