Facebook Fiasco

I warned you all years ago that Facebook, Google, Amazon, etc., was nothing more than a grab on your personal information and relationships to exploit. I told you all that your ego was selling you out for "likes" from people who really don't mean shII in your life should push come to shove.

Now you're shocked that Facebook is being blamed for sharing your personal information.

Did you really think this fun internet service was being offered to you for free?  I hate to break it to you, but nothing is free.  Always remember that.  Especially when you want to download the latest app for whatever.  Your information is being tracked and sold.

I don't think Facebook is entirely to blame here.  You're an idiot if you think these tech giants protect your information.  Still, there you are.....posting your constant whereabouts....taking pictures of what you had for dinner....consenting to quizzes that steal your data....the look at me vacation photos....detailed lists of your friends and families.

Don't post anything that you don't want the entire world to see.

Required viewing:  Terms and Conditions May Apply.  It's a documentary film that will make you think before hitting that "like" button or posting your political views.

It's over, folks and thank GOD.  Social media and oversharing has run its course.  it's soooooo last decade.  The new "cool" is to be offline.  No results when your name is typed in a search?  That's the new status symbol.

Didn't I say that snail mail, cash, and actual phone calls were making comeback?

Damn.  I did.
