Tinted Windows In Cars

Yes, I understand that you want to keep sunlight out of your cars by tinting all the windows to a dark shade of Hollywood celebrity wannabe.  I understand that the reasoning is that you don't want your car to be 180* internal temperature when you park it outside.  While I understand your immediate inconvenience of having your sunglasses melt onto your car dashboard; hence, the need to tint your windows, there are greater factors to consider.

First of all, there is so much communication that gets conveyed from car windows.  There is the nod or the wave that acknowledges you that you are ok to proceed through the intersection, make a lane change, or give the pedestrian some confidence they have been seen in a crosswalk.

Here's the problem when you have all your windows blacked out like an Oakland pimp.  I CAN'T SEE YOU!  I CAN'T SEE YOUR FACE!  I DON'T KNOW IF YOU MADE EYE CONTACT WITH ME.  I'M LEFT GUESSING IF YOU'RE GOING TO RUN ME OFF THE ROAD OR GIVE ME THE RIGHT OF WAY.  IF I COULD SEE YOUR FACE AND GESTURES, EVEN IF YOU'RE GIVING ME THE MIDDLE FINGER, IT WOULD BE BETTER THAN THAT BLAND, SLATE MIRRORED WINDOW  WHERE I CAN'T SEE ANYTHING THAT SHOULD BE COMMUNICATED TO KEEP US ALL SAFE ON THE ROADS.
