Everybody knows that if you want to get to
the United States illegally that you come up through Mexico. The
Haitians know this as well, as did Trump regardless of whether you loved
him or hated him. Maybe I'm missing something,
but the masses of Haitians storming the borders are not recent victims
of the series of unfortunate events in their homeland. Rather, they are
those who have made a stable life for themselves in several Central and
South American countries some years ago,
who chose to abandon what now they have to try to get to the United
States illegally because "somebody said that Biden open the borders."
Please tell me I'm wrong.
I don't know what the border patrol was
supposed to do when they are faced with illegal migrants crossing into
our country with the scarce to nil resources they had available. The
border patrols tried. They were doing their jobs.
Now they are being chastised for it.
There are so many of those who want to
enter the US legally and they are patiently waiting their turn. Why
should illegals get to jump in line and get preferential treatment?
Many who are waiting patiently for their legal entry
to the United States are coming from dire circumstances, perhaps more
dire than those who are trying to jump the border. We will never know
as the ones trying to enter legally are being ignored and pushed down
the line to make room for those who cheat and
mock our laws, and also to create sensationalist headlines as to how
cruel we are. Nobody is asking for illegals to come across our borders.
They are crossing by their own volition.
Enough is enough. Borders, and the
associated laws of entry and citizenship, are there for a reason whether
you personally agree with them or not. You are always welcome to leave
the United States if you do not agree with our
ways and think that it's better elsewhere. However, another country
will have to admit you. Even if you find a country you want to
immigrate to, you probably won't like their immigration policies and the
chances are that there will be a lengthy and cumbersome
process for entry and/or citizenship, should you ever get that far.
