Public Employee Pensions

Looks to me like the uber wealthy Wall Street gang is at it again. Deflect the obnoxious bailout money handed over to them and blame the working guy. Somebody please remind me again just what Wall Street bailout recipients have sacraficed in this game?

Instead of Wall Street Pigs giving something back to the people they stole from, the attention is now directed at government workers. To the government workers' credit, they did not steal anything or mislead anybody. Everything they are receiving was at some level agreed to contractually. Nobody should be surprised.

However, the Wall Street Pigs twisted, swindled, lied, and mislead to accumulate obnoxious wealth. When things started to fall apart they cried and whined for the taxpayers to bail them out. Sorry, but I'm not moved by your tears falling on your new yacht.

Well, if the uber rich would quit looking for tax loopholes and pay their fair share maybe, just maybe, we would not be in this mess.

Applebees

Does this place even qualify as an establishment serving food? IMHO, it is nothing more than McDonalds without the wrappers. They do have a couple of televisions to watch the over rated sports dood of the week along with cheap booze and bad beer. Oh, and don't forget to tip the server.

I had the (unpleasant) experience of meeting some collegues at a Sonoma County Applebee's for lunch recently. Why? I don't know. Anyway, the place was pretty busy for a Monday at lunch. I could not understand how the place could be so busy with people hurting for jobs and housing forclosures, but hey..... I'm not their personal accountant, and maybe (just MAYBE) they all just inherited a shit load of money and can afford to pay $9.00 for a shitty hamburger.

Which brings me to Table B. Table B had what looked like a mom, dad, and three small children. Table B kids threw tantrums and also dumped piles of animal crackers, pretzels, crayons, kleenex, etc., under the table where they sat.

Parents of Table B just got up and left when they were finisned with their meal. I was agast at the pile of debris they left behind. I would have been ashamed to leave such a large pile of trash my children were responsible for.

Applebees attracts all the finest.... American SCUM (myself included). I do have to lend some sympathy for Applebee's staff. Our waitress was a hard worker. Her timing was impeccable. I'm sure she hated cleaning up after some slob's kids over on Table B. It's not her fault she works for a shitty fast food chain while trying to go to school. She does not have a rich dad, either. She's trying to do the best she can.

Morale of the story: Go to Applebees if you don't feel like microwaving your own Lean Cuisine and serving it to yourself. Plus, you will be subject to the obnoxious behavior of the Table B brats as they throw their gold fish crackers at you whilst their oblivious parents order yet another round of flat beer.

Desperation

While the media is still trying to fill our heads with "the economy is REALLY starting to get better" and "unemployment not as bad as it could be" I am faced with harsh, real world, uneditied, statistics from reality pointing in the opposite direction of our Polly Anna Propaganda Press.

I'm sure if the truth be told it would cause another bank run similar to the 1930's. Again, we would get a repeat of "It's a Wonderful Life" and the Hollywood lies would continue to fool and manipulate the American people.

There is getting to be a sense of desperation out there. Seemingly sturdy, solid families are now panicking about how to make ends meet. They won't show up on any statistic because they are still technically employed (although hours drastically cut) and they are somehow still managing to make their house payment on time (at least for now).

These people are in their 40's and 50's and 60's. They are speaking of taking part-time jobs of delivering pizzas, waitressing, etc., to keep up their current standard of living. Think about it. Who is the WalMart greeter in YOUR town?

I guess my point is that the so-called backbone of America (the middle class) is coming apart at the seems. In a few short years we will have the ultra-rich and the slave class. Remind me again just how far we have come in the last 2,000 years?

New Political Party: National Pig Party

We have the donkeys representing the democrats. We have elephants representing republicans. If you want me to be blantantly honest, there is not much that separates the two. We should just consolidate the two parties and have the National Pig Party.

If you really think about it, there is no difference between the democrats and the republicans. They are more alike than they think. The difference is only this: Democrats want free government handouts for freeloaders, slugs and peeons, and repulicans want free government handouts for subsidies, corporations, and tax loopholes galore.

Let's just cut to the chase. Both democrats and republicans are dependent on the powerful authority of government taxation imposed on the masses for their own benefit.

Consolidate the two major political parties and create the National Pig Party. Taxpayers exist only to supply feed to the trough the National Pig Party craves.

I have yet to see a "staunch republican" refuse medicare when they reach of age, or bailout money for their grossly mismanaged corporations while raking in obnoxious bonuses (or farm subsidies). Yeah, you're anti-government alright. You depend on your handouts more than a welfare mom with 12 kids -- AND you're more expensive.

I have yet to see a "progressive liberal" finally reach a point of self-sufficiency and decline any more government parenting. More is always needed. Nothing is ever enough. You all take the cake with your incessant whining about how hard you have it. Grow up and take responsibility for yourselves. You made shitty choices, so suck it up.

The National Pig Party realizes how everybody just wants free money from somebody else. Hey, I call it as I see it.
